EcoMove is a youth-led initiative developed within the KAMALE project, focused on promoting sustainable urban habits through an innovative gamification platform. The project introduces a mobile app that encourages citizens to adopt eco-friendly behaviors such as walking, cycling, using public transport, and recycling, by rewarding them with points, discounts, and incentives.
The initiative explores how digital tools can support environmental awareness and behavioral change, while also providing municipalities with useful data for urban planning. It highlights key activities such as promoting sustainable mobility, encouraging proper waste separation, and engaging communities through challenges and environmental events.
Through a practical and user-centered approach, EcoMove demonstrates how technology and youth engagement can drive positive change, fostering a more sustainable, active, and environmentally conscious urban community.
