ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability (Europe) is a leading non-profit network of over 2 500 local and regional governments committed to sustainable development and climate action. It supports cities and regions across Europe, the Middle East and West Asia in driving equitable, resilient and low-carbon transformations. ICLEI facilitates peer learning, capacity building, technical assistance and policy advocacy that helps local governments integrate environmental, social and cultural dimensions into their planning and implementation. Its Socio-Cultural Transformations team is taking part in SUBLIME, and focuses on inclusive, justice-oriented urban change, cultural heritage, democratic participation and climate equity in local sustainability transitions.
